1. Movement and application
Describe the mechanism, useful rotary angle or linear stroke, and what the controller needs to understand about the movement.
2. Mechanical interfaces
Provide mounting references, shaft or bore geometry, available envelope and cable clearance. Attach the assembly drawing with its revision.
3. Electrical requirements
State the resistance or output, taper where relevant, supply, direction and connector. Separate fixed requirements from preferences.
4. Operating conditions
State temperature, exposure, vibration and operating duty. Agree the evaluation conditions that apply to your project.
5. Samples and quantities
Distinguish sample needs from expected production volume. Include your intended evaluation schedule and delivery requirements.
6. Documents for the selected part
Keep model, option code and drawing revision together. Request the configuration-specific specification and records required for your review.
