Similar movement, different interfaces

A fader is designed around a control interface, while a rod-style displacement sensor follows a moving linkage. A shared linear movement does not make their mounting, body length or connection interchangeable.

Record travel and installed length

Define the useful measurement stroke, fixed and moving mounting points, rod alignment and clearance throughout the mechanism. Check the available installation drawing before comparing a candidate format.

Manual input and motor movement

SVR01 is a manual slide format. MSV02 and MSV05 provide motor-actuated fader starting points. Motor integration adds driver, supply and connector questions to travel and resistance selection.

Review the final assembly

Compare CLP25 or LEC when the task is machine displacement feedback, and compare slide formats when the task is a panel control. Evaluate the selected configuration in its intended assembly and operating conditions.
